about

The title comes from a Japanese kids show I was watching in Japan. The woman was dressed like an i-don't-know, and she was dancing and singing these words. It was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen in my life.

The lyrics are an imagined conversation between God and I, which Jeff also helped me flesh out.

lyrics

tell me where you are
i need to hear it come from you, i won't talk until then

clearly you and i, we don't see eye to eye - so i won't waste my time again

i know you're tired now, but dangerous are the thoughts that let you see your way around

i might be upside down - it all depends on how you look, and what you call the ground

i close my door as i look up to say
you should feel privileged i would go your way

if you could only see, the world that i have set for you depends on how you grow

my life is like a globe: it's waiting for me to spin and to point where i will go

i promise if you wait, the sorrow you have known will bring the life that you most need

the oceans aren't as deep as you want me to believe, so i'll step in and see

i close my door as i look up to say
you should feel privileged i would go your way
